Papuopsis andersoni

Papuopsis is known from the single species, Papuopsis andersoni. The single known specimen was collected in rain forest litter in Papua New Guinea. Nothing is known of its biology, though it is likely myrmecophilous.
Characteristics
Papuopsis is characterized by its laterally margined pronotum and elytra, and by its dorsally convex body form. Its elytral trichomes are relatively small compared to other Chlamydopsinae.
